The NQSC presents Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream

Saturday 27th August to Monday 29th August 2022
The Oak Tree next to Quorn Old School Tearooms - Curtain up at 7.00pm
Cost: £10.00 per person

Underneath the spreading bows of an ancient oak in Quorn’s Stafford Orchard Titania and her fairies will meet. Lysander and Demetrius will fall in and out of love and the ‘Rude Mechanicals’ will rehearse their play. A Midsummer Night’s Dream is Shakespeare’s best loved play and probably his funniest.

In previous years, A Comedy of Errors, As You Like It and The Taming of the Shrew have been performed in the afternoon on Stafford Orchard. This year the company will be performing the first part of the play in the summer twilight and the second half under the stars. The production promises to be a truly magical experience for audience and performers alike.

Tickets are available on-line from our website or from The Old School Tearoom LE12 8BL. The Tearooms will be open for refreshments and ‘On the Rocks’, a horsebox bar, will be present selling Gin, Prosecco and a variety of drinks.

Tickets are on sale now.
