Changing your ISP (Internet Service Provider)
You may find that once your new village email address has been running for a while, you will want to change your ISP. A service provider is a company that gives you access to the Internet and includes companies such as BT, AOL, Tesco, Freeserve, NTL etc. It's quite common for people to hop from one to another to take advantage of better pricing and facilities. The trouble is that when you change provider, your email address will change too.
The beauty of having a village email address is that you can keep the same email address even if you change your provider. When you want to change, you simply let us know your default address with your new provider, and we'll change your entry on the village server. You don't need to tell friends of the change or reprint any stationery since your village email address remains completely stable and active
