Quorn's Christmas Lights were switched on at 6.30pm on Friday 8th December. It was a cold, but dry, evening and a generous crowd gathered at Quorn Cross for the festivities.
Choirs from the Baptist Church, St Bartholomews Church, St Bartholomews Primary School, and Joint Responsibility sang carols, accompanied by the Rawlins Brass Band. During the countdown to the big "switch on" a collection was made which raised £140 for the BBC Children In Need Appeal.
