The Octoberfest Success Continues

The 2nd Quorn Octoberfest (October 18th - 20th 2001) has proven an even more popular event than its first run last year.

Thursday started with our own Rawlins Jazz Group RAW JAZ, providing a first class performance and filling the hall with supporters. This was followed by Karls Bavarian Brass Band - the audience participation sending the floorboards pounding and reluctant to allow the band to go home.

Friday had the hall packed to capacity and overflowing into the road in appreciation of the popular local group Just Four Jazz.

Saturday and Bob Olivers Jazz Band, having toured the UK and travelled down from entertaining the RAF at Kinross, gave enthusiasts a high class performance with an audience that again spilled into the street.

All this entertainment for only £2 with excellent food and a choice of over 40 draft and European bottled beers also at extremely low cost. Proceeds go towards providing additional facilities for other users of Quorn Village Hall.

The Quorn Octoberfest has become an extremely popular event. Make a date for October 17/18/19 next year!
