Welcome to Quorn Open Gardens

July 1999

Quorn Open Gardens took place on July 24th/25th 1999 and was organised by Tim Harrison and Ivan Bexon. Twenty gardens were open to the public, and hundreds of people took advantage of the excellent weather to walk around the village. Most of the gardens are featured here - our apologies to those who we were unable to visit. Proceeds from the sales of "Garden Passports" reached £2000 which goes towards the Caves Field fund.

We cannot hope to do this event justice here with just a few photographs. What we hope to achieve is a snapshot of the day to give those who went a reminder of what they saw, and to show those who could not come along what they missed.

Quorn Open Gardens will be covered again in 2000 - so watch this space!!.
