Welcome
to Quorn Open Gardens 2001
Quorn Open Gardens 2001 took place on August 4th and 5th and
was organised jointly by Tim Harrison and Ivan Bexon. This year, sixteen gardens and
exhibitions were open to the public.
Saturday was slightly wet, but was not a patch on the floods and hail experienced last
year. Sunday proved to be the better day, with more people touring the village on foot or
by bike.
Profits from this event go towards Village Greening - small scale environmental projects
to improve Quorn Village.
As ever, we cannot hope to do this event justice here with just a few photographs. What we
hope to achieve is a snapshot of the day to give those who went a reminder of what they
saw, and to show those who could not come along what they missed.
