Activities and refreshments but expect the unexpected. Carolyn is intending to raise funds for both LOROS and the Scouts. The profit from the pre-booked afternoon teas will be entirely for LOROS. The Knave of Hearts will be operating a 'pop-up' shop to sell strawberry tarts stolen from the Queen's kitchen. The proceeds from this enterprise will go to the Scouts. Guests can buy a “Drink Me” potion from Alice (£3.00) and follow the white rabbit into the garden. These guests will have a ticket for refreshments which goes into a draw for prizes donated to LOROS. Guests who have a passport but do not want to pay for entry to the garden may pass through the house to see what is going on but they will not have a ticket for refreshments. Any surplus income after costs will be split equally between LOROS and the Scouts. Book in advance for a full afternoon tea, £10.60 per person (01509 416903).
