Welcome to our School Fete

The opening event of Quorn's Millennium Festival was the FoSBA St. Bartholomew's School Fete, on Saturday 24th June in the school grounds. The Fete opened with a children's Fancy Dress Parade on the theme of " Fitness and Fun". The popular celebrity Rosemary Conley performed the official opening, and judged the Fancy Dress, before enjoying the variety of stalls on offer. These included mini-motorbikes, fairground attractions, tombolas, White Elephant, plants, games, cakes, wheat bags and many more.

Much fun was had by all, except perhaps by those in the stocks (even the Head Mrs James!). The total sum raised for school was over £3,000, including a fantastic donation from the Loughborough Students Rag.

Chair (Cheryl Clegg) and Secretary (Elizabeth Peers-Timerick) wish to extend FoSBA's sincere thanks to all who supported the Fete, and especially to all our friends and businesses in and around Quorn for contributing so generously. Thank you!!

Many thanks also to all those people who allowed us to photograph the event! Photos are shown below ...
