Rick
Jackson has painted on and off for many years, career permitting. He and his wife settled
in Quorn in 1988 after a lengthy spell in the forces. He chose Quorn in particular and
Charnwood in general because of the superbly varied countryside. He specialises in
painting local scenes in water colours mainly, but does paint in acrylics and oils too.
He has completed a good selection of local scenes which are available for viewing at his home and he will consider commissions for specific subjects such as people's houses and gardens, Mountsorrel Buttermarket etc. Other interests are natural history, walking, golf and travelling.
