Plans have been in progress to develop and maintain an on-line village
photograph archive. After much time and effort, the project has now
started.
The idea is to ask people in the village to contribute their own images.
They can be current day photos of people and places in Quorn, or historical
photos, perhaps of old buildings or people who once lived in the village.
All photographs that are accepted will be scanned and added to an
on-line gallery that is searchable. This is now running and at start-up
contains over 70 images of the village. These include photos donated
by local people, people overseas, and also some unique aerial shots
of Quorn.
