A group in the village is currently progressing the idea of developing a Village Design Statement for Quorn. An initial meeting in October was well attended, and many of those present put their names forward for offering hands-on support.

In parallel with this, there are also efforts to start a national directory of village design statements. Currently many statements exist on the web, but having them all within one website would allow visitors to search by county, geographic region and population.
A draft website is already published, and the group is now approaching interested parties and organisations for their support.
