In the last edition of The Quorndon, the Parish Council announced that it was intending to have a Parish Office in the centre of the village. Plans have now moved on and it can be confirmed that the new office will be in number 7 High Street, (next to Hetterley’s).
It is likely to open early in 2007 and opening times will be widely advertised as soon as they are available. The office will act as a central information point where members of the public will be able to make appointments or drop in to discuss Parish Council issues, report problems, give their views, be involved in consultations and view local planning applications. Keep your eyes on the notice board and in the shop window for further developments.
