I moved to Quorn in 2000, having lived on the ouskirts of Thurcaston for several years before this. I am married to Brian and we have two sons, one of whom works in London and the other is just finishing University.

Until recently I worked full time, mainly based in Nottingham or London and commuting between the two. When I was offered a (very) early retirement I took the opportunity, and am fully enjoying the change of scene and pace.

I have always been committed to my local community, helping with playgroup, scouts and local mini rugby when the boys were smaller and my work commitments permitted. I am now happily involved with Quorn WI and look forward to working as part of the Parish Council.
