Elizabeth has lived in the village for 25 years and has been a member of the Parish Council for 7 years. She is married to a solicitor and has four grown-up children.

Her other interests include being the Chairman of Home-Start Charnwood, a national charity which helps families with young children under stress. She is also a member of the executive committee of the Charnwood Community Council and a member of the Welfare Trust. She has been a board member of a local housing association and is responsible for handling applications from people who wish to move into the local Abbeyfield House in Quorn.

Elizabeth represents the Council on the Police Consultative Committee and Dr Babington’s Charity. Her designated responsibilities under ‘The Plan for Quorn’ are environmental issues covering Crime, Flooding and Quarrying.
