The Parish Council recognises that the provision of information to, and consultation with, parishioners is a vital part of the democratic process, and operates an open access policy to all decision making not constrained by personal or commercial confidentiality.

Council meetings take place on the first Tuesday of every month in the Village Hall at 7.00pm. Notices and agendas for meetings are posted on village notice boards. Parishioners are welcome to attend as observers.

You can download dates for all meetings - download PDF.

Copies of the minutes of council meetings are available in the village post office, public library, the notice board on the forecourt of the shops in Station Road, and also on-line in the Minutes and Documents section of this website.

A Parish Meeting takes place annually, usually in May, at which the Council presents its annual report and accounts to the public.
