Village Design Statement
A group in the village is currently progressing the idea of a Village Design Statement for Quorn. An initial meeting in October was well attended, and many of those present put their names forward for offering hands-on support.
Anyone interested in joining the development group should contact Terry Stirling - 01509 414 287
St Barts Primary School Travel Plan
St Barts Primary School and the Parish Council have been working in partnership
to produce a School Travel Plan. The Travel Plan aims to improve
safety on the journey to and from school and to get a higher percentage
of the children walking or cycling, (which is healthier and greener).
There will also be benefits for local residents, eg less traffic
congestion on Willowcroft/Warwick Avenue and a crossing between Farley
Way and Woodhouse Road (see also separate item on 'Farley Way/Woodhouse
Road Crossing' for how you can help towards this).
More information is available on the village website here.
