Men's Fellowship
We are a group of about twenty lads who meet on the second Monday of each month in the new extension to the church (the 'Wesley Room'). To be honest, most of us are already retired but we retain a lively interest in what is going on in the world. The majority are also members of Quorn United Church, but we are open to all who would like to join us for conversation and fellowship - maybe just for a 'sample evening' to see what we're like. Meetings begin at 7.15pm with a coffee and then there is usually a speaker, either one of ourselves or a visitor. By 9.30pm the proceedings are generally concluded. On occasions there are evening visits to places of interest such as a local company, fire station or hospital, in which case transport is organised.
Our programme is included below. All expenses are covered by an annual subscription of £7.00. From time to time the Fellowship volunteers to take part in other Church events such as fund-raising fetes and fairs, and we are always on the lookout for new things to do and places to visit. There is a break in our programme activities between May and September.
